About Star of the Seas

Star of the Seas, launched in 2025, is the second ship in Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking Icon Class and a natural evolution of everything that made Icon of the Seas a record-breaking success. Designed to blend adrenaline, relaxation, and next-generation innovation, Star carries around 7,600 guests and continues the cruise line’s commitment to sustainability with LNG power and advanced environmental systems. Much like her sister, Star of the Seas is divided into eight immersive neighbourhoods, each offering a distinct experience. Thrill Island returns with the Category 6 waterpark, featuring six high-speed slides, including Frightening Bolt and Pressure Drop. Chill Island spans multiple decks with four pools, including the adults-only Cove Pool and the lively Swim & Tonic swim-up bar. Surfside, Royal Caribbean’s dedicated family neighbourhood, is once again a standout—offering water play areas, kid-friendly restaurants, and a convenient layout designed around multigenerational travel. Star also brings back guest favourites like The Hideaway, featuring the signature suspended infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and the AquaDome, an engineering marvel perched on the front of the ship. Inside, guests enjoy panoramic sea views by day and jaw-dropping aerial and aqua shows by night. Dining is more expansive than ever, with returning hits like Empire Supper Club, Izumi in the Park, and Coastal Kitchen for suite guests. New venues exclusive to Star have also made their debut, adding to the 40+ food and drink spots spread across the ship. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite in the Surfside Eatery or enjoying a high-end culinary journey in Wonderland, there's a flavour and vibe to suit every mood. Entertainment ranges from Broadway-calibre productions to ice skating shows, comedy nights, live bands, and pop-up performances throughout the ship. With so many venues and nightly experiences, there’s never a dull moment. Accommodations cater to solo travellers, couples, families, and large groups, with options including Infinite Balcony rooms, Central Park View staterooms, and luxury suites like the Ultimate Family Townhouse. Each space is thoughtfully designed with modern comforts and smart storage. Homeported in Port Canaveral, Star of the Seas sails 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, all including a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay. With everything from heart-pounding thrills to laid-back luxury, Star delivers the ultimate cruise experience—bold, fresh, and built for every kind of traveller.
